I’m Lottie, an abstract visual artist from Washington, DC. My core belief is that art has no age limit. For decades, I admired creativity from a distance, thinking art wasn’t for me. But when my granddaughter moved out, I reflected on the time we spent together while she painted. At 73, I picked up a brush—and I haven’t put it down since.

Now, in my mid-70s, I’m proud to call myself an artist. I’ve sold and donated pieces, shared my work with friends and family, and I continue to grow with every canvas. My mission is simple: to inspire others to follow their passions, no matter their age or circumstance.
